Defcon was awesome, you should go next time.

Just wanted to say hello to all my friends that I hooked up with at Defcon this year. It was great. Great parties, good friends, good talks, good times. I’ve put up a couple videos that I took during Defcon, one being this one:

Of the Bendy Girl at the IOActive Party. She was good. DJ Keith Myers did an excellent job of DJ’ing the party on Saturday.

I went to several talks, one being the Adobe 0day “debacle” talk. Where the disclosure of the PDF Vuln from Adobe was discussed. I think the presenter (from Shadowserver) did a good job of trying to explain the benefits of partial disclosure, full-disclosure, and non-disclosure. I still think full-disclosure is the way to go.

In any case, good times had by all, thanks to all for making it a great, safe, Defcon.

Defcon

Been at Defcon the past couple days, this is the first time I've had a chance to write a quick blog post.  Been updating Twitter and Pownce though.  

Defcon is going good.  Some interesting events:

Fire Alarm goes off, no one cares.

Walked into Sports Book, one of the computers crashed, and several members of the Nevada Gaming Commission and Cops standing around another computer.  (Apparently they didn't realize it was Defcon?)

Parties ftw.

So, no smoking or drinking?  In a Casino?  in Vegas?  Right....  so..  yeah, hotel security gave up on that already.

Naval Postgraduate School kicks ass.

Defcon

So, every year I look for people doing live blogging/posting from defcon with pictures.  Well, this year, I am going, and this year I am going to do my damndest to keep everyone posted.

Lack of Posts

Not that there hasn't been alot to write about recently, I've just been dealing alot with this DNS issue, so by the time I get home a night I'm tired, and don't want to blog.  I have had lots of interesting ideas too, I just am so tired!  Sorry about that, i'll get back on track shortly.

I am going to Defcon next week, so anyone that is going, I'll see you there!
